Portia Louder spent 4.5 years in prison. She speaks openly about her mistakes and what it took to move past them. Portia is a writer, speaker, photographer and advocate. She works with at-risk youth, and women struggling with addiction. Portia speaks regularly at jails and institutions, and recently published her first book titled Living Louder, a Compassionate Journey Through Federal Prison.

In this interview we talk about everything. Portia was so transparent and fun to interview. We ask her to dive deeper into a few of her chapters in her book. We talk about her blog and how she got pushback from it. We talk about her mental health status before the trial.
